DBS 3rd Party Voice Mail Integration
Hardware:
For the best voice mail integration, we recommend a CPC-AII or CPC-B processor card with version 6.0 or higher firmware. To verify your processor, go to any LCD display phone on the system, lift the handset, press "CONF" and dial "7777". The display will indicate both the card type, and the firmware version.
Voice Mail specific features of V6.0 or higher include:

Hardware Requirements
Third party voice mail interfaces to the DBS system via analog ports.
The following three parts are necessary:
VB-43621A 8 port Analog card (1 per 8 voice mail extensions)
VB-43431 MFR/DTMF Receiver card (1 per cabinet)
VB-2089P SLT Ringer box (1 per cabinet)
Another option is to interface the voice mail via an SLT adapter, Model VB-43709 (Firmware 7.0 and higher only).
The SLT adapter mounts externally and can convert between 1 and 4 digital ports to analog ports.
