DBS Extenssion Name Programming

Programming must be done from extension 10,11,100 or 101.

The instructions below reflect programming the name of extension 10/100.
To program additional extensions, enter the corresponding port numbers (02,002,03,003 etc.)

-Press ON/OFF
-Press PROG
-Dial #2 to go to name programming
-Dial the 2 or 3 digit port number of extension to program (ie 01 or 001)
NOTE: the number of digits (2 or 3) you must dial are dependant on software version of the system. If you dial a 2 digit number and an extension number is not displayed, press ON/OFF, start over and dial a 3 digit port number. (i.e. 001 instead of 01)
-Display will say “EX100 CURRENT NAME”
-Press AUTO to backspace (erase) current name
-Press dial pad to enter the first letter
(ie pressing the “2” button 3 times will display a “C”)
-Once the first letter is entered correctly, press the FLASH button to move the cursor to the right.
-Continue programming name.

If you make a mistake, you may press the AUTO button to backspace.
To enter a NUMBER, press the CONF button and then press the corresponding button on
the dialpad (ie pressing the “2” button will display a “2”) -Once the name is entered, press FLASH button one more time and then press HOLD
-You can now dial another port number to program , or press ON/OFF to exit.
