About Panasonic Voicemail

Panasonic's first voicemail system, the KX-TVP150 was a 2 port system that could be expanded to 8 ports. This system was analog and interfaced with Panasonic phones systems in a very limited fashion.

With the introduction of the KX-TD series of telephone systems in the mid 90's, Panasonic began manufacturing two digitally integrated voice processing solutions, the KX-TVS75 and the KX-TVS100. The systems were functionally equivalent- the difference being that the KX-TVS75 was limited to 2 ports and the KX-TVS100 could be expanded from it's initial 2 ports to a total of 4 ports.

The next system to be introduced was the KX-TVS200, which had a maximum capacity of 12 ports and the KX-TVS300 with even more capacity . All of the KX-TVS voicemails are similar in functionality. With the addition of features, Panasonic has generally changed the part number of the unit. The most recently manufactured systems are the KX-TVS50, KX-TVS95, KX-TVS125, KX-TVS225 and KX-TVS325.
