About the KX-TD1232

The Panasonic KX-TD1232 and KX-TD816 were the first digital systems in the "KX-T" series.

This system was Panasonic's first entry into the Digital PBX market. The KX-TD1232 has an ultimate capacity of 24 lines and 64 stations, which are realized with the addition of expansion cabinets and cards. The KX-TD series has been replaced by the KX-TDA Hybrid IP system.

The KX-T1232 Control Unit (part# KX-TD1232 ) is initially configured for up to 8 lines and 16 telephones.

A few of the many telephone models that are compatible with this sytem are KX-T7250, KX-T7220, KX-T7230, KX-T7235, KX-T7420, KX-T7425, KX-T7433, KX-T7453, KX-T747436 and KX-T7456.

Many support cards are available for this system. Outside lines are connected to TRK cards. KX-TD170 is an 8 port, loop start card. KX-TD185 is an 4 port"Direct Inward Dial" card (DID). A T-1 circuit which allows up to 24 outside lines is connected via a T-1 card (part# KX-TD187). A PRI circuit which allows up to 23 outside lines is connected via a PRI-23 card (part# KX-TD290).

For additional stations, up to two STA cards (part# KX-TD170) can be added per cabinet to increase capacity by 8 telephones
